Dr. Federico Mossa, FMH in Ophthalmic Surgery, with a specialization in Ophthalmic Surgery at the Oxford University Eye Clinic.
At the same University, he held the positions of ” Specialist Registrar ,” ” Vitreo-retinal Fellow ” and ” Honorary Consultant .”
He was appointed ” Senior Lecturer ,” and was responsible for teaching Ophthalmology to medical students at Oxford University.
After this, he held the position of Vitreo-retinal Surgeon in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Strasbourg.
Constant humanitarian commitment: Dr. Federico Mossa has participated in several humanitarian missions in West Africa and was ” Visiting Professor ” at Saint John Eye Hospital in Jerusalem.

Dr. Federico Mossa has published numerous articles in international scientific journals, including the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Archives of Ophthalmology, Eye and Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology.
He has presented his research at a number of international conferences.

He has 25 years of experience in ocular microsurgery and has performed over 25,000 surgical procedures.

He has been a Certified Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Etablissements Hospitaliers du Nord Vaudois since the summer of 2011 and is a member of national and international ophthalmic societies.
He is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS), the Italian Society of Ophthalmology (SOI), the French Society of Ophthalmology (SFO) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO).

In Switzerland, he is a member of the FMH (Swiss Medical Association), the SVM (Medical Society of the Canton of Vaud), the SSO (Swiss Society of Ophthalmology) and the AOVD (Society of Ophthalmology of the Canton of Vaud).

He is currently in charge of teaching ophthalmology to assistant doctors at the EHNV (Établissements Hospitaliers du Nord Vaudois).
Since 2011, he has been the Director in charge of the CEMO (Center for Ocular Microsurgery) and of the Ophtavaud network, which includes the Ophthalmology departments of the Hospitals of Saint-Loup, Orbe and Yverdon and the Ticino Laser Center of Mendrisio.
